Event Photography

for majority of the list here it all begins with a collaboration between the photographer and the client. One of the first things we need to do before the day of the event is to understand your needs and priorities. This is a major part of preparing for a successful event because there are many events that are documented for posterity and for the most part these are once in a lifetime events. Lets put together a shot list. This shot list will provide a guide of the important shots to capture and if necessary along with the itinerary for the day.

  • Baptisms

I have 3 Baptism Packages and with the help of our shot list we can list all of the important elements to capture during this important day like the babies outfit, Baptism candles, A copy of the invitation for the guest, Baby Shoes, florals ,etc. The Baptism has 4 parts

  1. Getting Ready
  2. The Ceremony
  3. After the Ceremony
  4. The Reception

If possible I like to get the family photos done after capturing the images during the Getting Ready part, however that's not always possible so family photos are captured after the Ceremony along with the priest. Prior to the event these are questions that will be asked of you:

  1. Is flash photography ok?
  2. When can I use the flash?
  3. Will there be any family portraits taken and where should we take them.
  4. Where am I allowed to go to and what areas am I not allowed to go.
  5. If flash isn't ok can I bring my own lighting?
  6. Is there a ceremony right after?
  7. How much time do we have to capture the event.
